Spreading Love & Kindness: Better World Charity's Christmas Outreach at Agape Children's Home

A Christmas Mission of Hope & Opportunity

The spirit of Christmas shone brightly as Better World Charity’s team, led by our President, visited Agape Children’s Home in Yaoundé. What began as a festive outreach became a transformative moment for vulnerable children—combining immediate joy with long-term opportunity.

Bringing Holiday Cheer

We arrived with:

• Nutritious food supplies to ensure a hearty Christmas meal.

• Personalized gifts for each child, sparking smiles and laughter.

• Inspirational stories to remind them of their limitless potential.

But the day’s true highlight? Identifying 8 children at risk of dropping out of school due to financial hardship—and immediately committing to fund their education.

Education as a Gift That Lasts Forever

During our visit, we learned that many of Agape’s children face barriers to education, from unpaid school fees to lacking supplies. In response, we:

1. Collected Profiles: Documented each child’s academic needs and aspirations.

2. Launched Scholarships: Covering tuition, books, and uniforms for the 2024 school year.

3. Promised Mentorship: Pairing recipients with BWC volunteers for ongoing support.

“Education unlocks doors that hardship tries to seal,” shared our President. “These scholarships aren’t just aid—they’re investments in future leaders.”
